A Billion Dollar Brows

billion_dollar_brows Hey everyone! It’s breaktime! That means I don’t have to worry about any papers and deadlines for a little while. Today’s post is going to be about one of the most important features of our faces… the eyebrows. I got this sample from *Billion Dollar Brows and decided to try it out to see what they’re all about. These are the contents of the package. Pretty cute packaging from the get go which is always a big plus for me. I love that this kit comes with everything you need to glam up your eyebrows. billion_dollar_brows5 Let’s take a look at each of the items.. Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil – okay so to tell you the truth, I hate when costemic products use the term “universal”. Just no, there is no universal color for all skin color because you have to take into account not just hair color, but also the skin tones and undertones. Anyway, let’s get back to the product itself.  The pencil is a dark brown shade which comes pretty close to what I normally use so I was happy to see that it might even be an exact match. billion_dollar_brows3 Billion Dollar Brows Brow Gel Clear – love the packaging on this one. I think it’s a very good product for setting up the brows. billion_dollar_brows4 Billion Dollar Brows Brow Duo Highlighter – Now, I was excited about this. A concealer — to define the brows and make them more polished, and a highlighter — to use a finishing touch to really amp up the look. I like how convenient it is to have a two in one product. billion_dollar_brows6 Billion Dollar Brows Smudge Brush – the package says this is for smudging the highlighter, but I used it to blend the concealer outline and it worked perfectly fine for that too. 🙂 billion_dollar_brows2 Billion Dollar Brows Pencil Sharpener – As an added bonus, just in case you don’t have a jumbo pencil sharpener, this kit has included one for the highlighter/concealer pencil. billion_dollar_brows7 Here are all the products once again. billion_dollar_brows_content Now to try it on my own brows… My eyebrows before any products. before-brows My eyebrows after.. I decided to do a less dramatic look and go for my natural everyday look since that’s what this product will be used for most of the time. after-brows Here’s one of my eyebrows. In relation to the whole look, I think it matches me perfectly. My hair has some highlights so the darker brown eyebrows are flattering. I also made the shape rounder for a more youthful and natural look instead of my usual angled brows. billion_dollar_brows_sample So there ya go! I hope you guys found this post helpful. This kit can be found at the *Billion Dollar Brow website and is sold for $34.99. Pretty amazing deal for everything that you get in my opinion. They also sell the products individually just in case you don’t want the whole set. 🙂

  1. Obviously it works, and it’s a very complete, well thought-out kit. I think the price tag is a bit high, but I’ve seen smaller kits for more money, so maybe I’m just thinking it out wrong. There are plenty of single eyebrow filling pens and pencils that cost just as much as this complete kit, so it’s definitely worth trying out.

I too hate the “universal” tag on a lot of things. I’m super pale, so a lot of those dark shades are too dark to match or they’re way too light. Everyone does it differently. I think this looks super natural on you.

Have a happy, healthy, and safe New Year!

    1. Thanks love. I agree that on first thought it seems a little pricey but if you think about the price for each items and add them up, it sounds just about right.

Glad you stopped by! Happy New Year! 🙂

  2. I so much want to get my hands on one of these kits, but I just can’t find it!
I saw it on one bloggers event, but the queue was incredibly long and I don’t see it in the regular shops. I NEED IT!!
